The seventh season of "American Idol" premieres tonight. Will you be watching, or are you over it?
I have absolutely no idea what the appeal of this show is to anyone. I can understand the humor that comes with the auditions, but that gets old fast. Ok, that person sucks and that is the only reason they made it to that audition stage.
As for the main show - no idea.
When I was a Nielson family member, I did my best to get the other shows in the same time slot ratings for the sole purpose of getting American Idol off the air. I don't know if I had any impact since I do not know how many people I represented, but it was all I could do for the betterment of television in America.
