I don't have one favorite, but Red Hot Riding Hood is a great example of a cartoon that contains all of my favorite elements. Actually almost every Tex Avery cartoon is like this for me.
Car of Tomorrow was one that I loved watching as a kid.
I'm pretty sure that my love of music from the 30's and 40's is a result of the background music used in the MGM and Warner Bros. cartoons from this time period. Come to think of it, these cartoons had a lot more influence on me than just music.
