I showed this to the wife.
She responded, "Absolutely not."
There really wasn't much room for discussion.

IMHO, this makes a better Swamp Thing than Oscar. Since it is supposed to be Oscar, this falls into Point B of being kinda creepy.
HOW TO - Make an Oscar the grouch costume on MAKE
It is no secret that I'm a big Muppet fan and that I really love Halloween. However, like a lot of things I like, these two things do not mix very well.
Starting in 2002, my buddy Danny Horn started posting annual Muppet Fan Halloween Parades on his site, ToughPigs.com. That first year, he put out a call for submissions in exchange for candy and was completely overloaded. I even contributed a few pics I found via Google, but I told him to save his candy and give it to kids. I'm good like that. He continued through last year, and gave up on giving out candy.
It seems like Danny has been busy with creating and maintaining the Muppet Wiki this year and ToughPigs was placed on a bit of hiatus. Sadly, this probably means no Parade this year. The previous year parades are still available and still funny as hell.
Here is a synopsis of all of the parades:
A) Dressing up as a Muppet when you are kid works pretty well in most cases.
B) It doesn't work quite as well when you are older. In fact, it can be kinda creepy and scary.
C) It can work when you are older and don't try to do too much and just do enough to suggest the Muppet.
D) It can also work if you have some talent in building a costume or are willing to put the time into it to make it look good.
E) But it really doesn't work if you do this. Ever.

Danny, thanks for the laughter. Your work on TP has always been appreciated.
BTW- I've never dressed as a Muppet for Halloween and never will.
Matt & Trey just stuck their thumbs up Crocodile Hunter fans' asses and pissed them right off.
In another turn of "shocking" events, Steve Irwin fan's are upset over the most recent South Park's depiction of their hero in hell with a stingray sticking out of his chest.
Please.
It's South Park. It should expected.
Like these same people won't see a Steve Irwin Zombie at Halloween parties this year. Whenever a celebrity dies close to the season, they show up at Halloween parties.
That was the whole point of this bit. Satan was having a Halloween party and is told that someone showed up in a Steve Irwin costume and was offending the other guests. Satan realizes that it really is Irwin and then tosses him out of the party for not showing up in a costume.
If you are going to dress up for Halloween, what will you be? Why?
