Video: Show us a great music video.
There are a lot of great videos, but "Sweep the Leg" by "No More Kings" is probably the greatest new video I've seen.
It features all of our Cobra Kai buddies and other friends from The Karate Kid (except for Pat Morita because he's dead - Mr. Belding fills in - and Elizabeth Shue because she probably feels "above" this now.)
Retrocrush has an interview with Billy Zabka ("Johnny
Lawrence" and the go-to guy for a teen villian in an 80's movie) about the making of the video (he was the writer and director).

I also have to throw Weezer's "Keep Fishin'" video in here just because. Do you have a problem with that?
This is just totally surreal
Peter Boyle has died. Funny, funny, FUNNY, actor. I never got into Everybody Loves Raymond, but I knew Peter Boyle from the movies. Especially Young Frankenstein. The Puttin' on the Ritz bit never fails to crack me up.
Bloody-Disgusting.com is reporting that not only is a remake of the Rocky Horror Picture Show in the works, but also that Marilyn Manson is going to star as the good doctor.
If true, this is another remake that really isn't necessary. The movie is still thriving. The songs still work. Why?
But if true, Manson would be a good pick. Other than borrowing his schtick from Alice Cooper & David Bowie, he also borrowed heavily from Frank-n-Furter's wardrobe.
I'm thinking that this may be another round of rumors about Manson starring in a major film. Possibly a variation on the Willy Wonka rumor. I didn't think much of that one either.
In related news- I'm 2 degrees away from the man.
Bubblegumfink has posted a series of faux Topp's bubblegum cards based on the original Friday the 13th Movie.
In related events- I had the opportunity to meet 3 of the people associated with the movie this weekend. More to come on that.
2 of those 3 people are in this card.
Fantastic cast:
I love the design of the posters.
Here is the first trailer for the film. It looks like it is primarily Rodriguez's "Planet Terror" half.
Not a "great" movie, but a fun mix of horror and humor.
What people don't realize is that stuff like this goes down all of the time in Louisville, the film's setting. All kinds of weird hospitals and military people running around. Lots of Zombies too. Especially in the Deloitte & Touche office area. The It isn't an entirely true story, but stuff like this happens.
Back in the day I remember seeing the trailer for it in the theaters or on TV. I really remember the "Partytime" song and the Tar Man Zombie (above).
It wasn't until a few years later that I finally got to see the film on Showtime or Cinemax. Loved it.
It has been a number of years since I've watched it. I'll have to add it to my Netflix queue and share it with the gang.
Afterall, it is the season for a fun zombie movie and with Lipman's reports of Zombies in the area, it may just be the right time to watch it.
